The desk is 25.5" high and access to the desk would be difficult with a wheelchair. It might be possible to move furniture to improve desk access , please discuss it with us when you book. The bed(s) are 23.5" (60cm) high and in the twin arrangement, one bed can be raised to 29.5" (75cm) high by using our purpose-made bed-blocks. This is particularly important if a mobile hoist is necessary. We are happy to hire this from a local medical-care facility, at a reasonable charge, please ask for more information. The hoist can be used in the en-suite as well as for bed transfer. The twin beds can be put together to make one 6’ wide super-king bed.

You would need to provide your own "toileting sling" for hygiene reasons. Please visit Room Two page to see further general photographs of Room Two.
The pedestal wash basin has easy wheelchair access under, a vertical grab rail and lever taps. Storage shelves to left of the sink can be moved if desired.Because we have three accessible rooms, it is crucial to reserve any mobility aids you might wish to use.
Please do this WHEN YOU BOOK your accommodation, thank you.
Aids include: wheelchair, shower chair; toilet seat raiser; bed-blocks; mobile hoist; bed back-rest.
